Responsibilities

The ideal employee will bring experience in gathering, analyzing and refining data and process workflows to routinely deliver insightful, actionable, and timely reporting as well as efficient workflow designs to achieve and exceed company goals.

• Perform checks and audits of various data sources to ensure data is accurate and complete.

• Assess organizational performance in relation to established goals and standards.

• Develop and maintain close working relationships with departmental senior leaders that may advise on activities and trends in the external environment that could impact strategic needs or opportunities (e.g., Govt. Affairs, Real Estate, Payer Strategy, IT).

• Gain a thorough understanding of the inpatient line of business including operational and clinical processes and procedures.

• Collaborate with team members to build partnerships with business operators.

• Perform ad-hoc requests for data and reports.

• Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual progress toward goals and standards.

• Perform testing of application functionality.

• Create and maintain documentation.

Impact You Will Make

• Provide support to projects related to various applications.

• Completion of assigned tasks for newly developed functionality and maintaining existing applications.

• Coordinate and communicate with shared service resources who are assigned to support applications and project tasks

Qualifications

Requirements:

• BS or BA or equivalent education and experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in Business Analysis including documenting requirements and ensuring successful integration and/or implementation of projects.

• Experience with software application support and implementation.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills.

Preferred :

• Ability to communicate with and gather information from project team members and business operators.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with team and business operators.

• Ability to operate using standard methodologies for the completion of tasks within an agile environment.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong computer skills.

• Possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently.

• Ability to demonstrate a strong sense of urgency when responding to requests for data and reports.

• Experience analyzing, documenting, and optimizing business process flows.

• Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to validate data, assess data quality and implement solutions to improve processes.

• Experience with managed healthcare-related projects and familiarity with the healthcare provider industry.

• Ability to write and communicate effectively.
