Business Analyst in Meridian, Idaho

Our Business Analysts play a meaningful role in identifying and analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and defining the scope and objectives for applications integrated with business processes/data and IT infrastructure.

To be considered for this opportunity, you have the following:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Business Analyst (for level II) or 5 years relevant experience as a Business Analyst (for level III)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Previous experience with Blue cross or blue shield or in the healthcare industry .

Here’s what your day may look like:

• Recommends solutions or improvements to business processes

• Research business requirements, develop detailed specifications and validates the solutions with business partners

• Communicate needs to the development team by translating business requirements

• Lead and work with cross-functional teams to detail business requirements for critical business processes

• Owns the development, with IT support, of tools, applications, reports, and analytics to enable strategic programs and metrics for the department

• Troubleshoot technical issues and work through a resolution

• Plan and executes business user acceptance testing and related test activities
