Business Analyst in New York, New York

Our client, a global bank is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. As a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of the Swaps Technology team.

Job Title: Business Analyst – Swaps Technology

Location: Manhattan – hybrid 3 days per week

Pay Range: 65-67/hr on Experis’ W2

(Due to client rules, all candidates must be able to work on Experis’ W2 directly; we are unable to work with 3rd parties / subcontractors)

What’s the Job?

This Business Analyst working within Swaps Technology will work directly with all members of the dev team (other analysts, developers, qa), our business users and other development teams. This person will communicate the work objectives, coordinate deliveries, manage risks, ensure compliance to standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Responsibilities will also include documenting requirements, analysis and testing results.

Core Skills:

• Understanding of Equity Trading; Equity Swaps business knowledge is a necessity

• Understanding of BDD/TDD

• Understanding of the development process/cycle

• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong ability to interact, communicate, and influence vertically and horizontally

• Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding

• Ability to navigate in complex and changing environment

• Ability to navigate JIRA and Confluence docs
