Business Analyst in Newton, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking a Clinical Business Analyst for a short-term contract position in the healthcare and social assistance industry. This remote role is based in Newton, Massachusetts and involves working closely with both business and IT teams. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and modification of custom or packaged applications and reporting tools.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams to design cross-functional processes and solutions to address business challenges.

• Present flexible, scalable, and supportable options to stakeholders, assisting them in evaluating alternatives that align with project and business objectives.

• Identify opportunities for IT to add value to business teams and enhance processes.

• Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders and drive change in partnership with IT.

• Participate in initiatives aimed at streamlining processes to improve quality and effectiveness.

• Leverage IT-related best practices to deliver business solutions.

• Gather and translate business and/or technical needs into relevant documentation for assigned projects.

• Establish consensus among stakeholders and/or project team members regarding assigned deliverables.

• Handle multiple projects independently.

• Utilize skills such as Atlassian Jira, Database, Gap Analysis, Agile Scrum, Design, and EHR SYSTEM among others, to perform job functions effectively. Requirements

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for managing projects and tracking issues effectively.

• Demonstrated understanding and experience with databases.

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems.

• Proven experience in Gap Analysis to identify process improvements.

• Knowledge and experience with AB Testing methods.

• Deep understanding of Business Process Functions.

• Ability to create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents.

• Experience with design in the context of business analysis.

• Clinical experience within the healthcare industry.

• Understanding of clinical processes, including patient care and record management.

• Experience with EHR SYSTEM for maintaining patient records.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, specifically hospitals and social assistance sectors.

• Experience with Waterfall methodology for project management.
