Job Description

Pay Rate: 40-50/hr

Insight Global is hiring for a Business Analyst to sit onsite in Stamford, CT for a large, telecommunications company. This Business Analyst will be joining the Customer Operations organization specifically within the Outage Management team.

This team’s initiative is working on quicker outage detection before customers are aware of the outage. When an outage is generated, they automatically deliver proactive notifications along with estimated repair times via customers preferred method of communication. This Business Analyst will be responsible for updating documentation pre and post project launch, creating visual flows of the use case analysis, and determine user needs and requirements in order to recommends ways to improve systems. This analyst will serve as the primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff. Furthermore, this business analyst will Identify, document, report, and track system issues using Excel.

Skills and Requirements

· 5+ years of Business Analyst Experience

 · Strong experience with use cases, user stories, BRDs, FRDs, etc.

 · Ability to translate business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables

 · Strong experience with using MS Visio to create process flows

 · Proficient within Excel for analyzing and pulling data to create reports

 · Creating PowerPoint Deck Presentations for leadership/executives

 · Bachelor’s Degree · Telecom Experience

 · Experience using MicroStrategy for reporting

 · Lean Six Sigma Certification null
