The team is hiring an experienced Business Analyst in System Test based in India (Mumbai/Pune/Bangalore Coimbatore) who will be a part of MSCI’s Enterprise Quality and Operations team. As part of this team, you will be working closely with Engineering and Business teams (Technical PM, Product and Research) in US, Europe, and India to perform End to End integration testing for various software applications. You will interact with multiple local and remote teams to understand requirements and the development of the Domain Specific Logic. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying the gaps in implementation/tests coverage and ensure the quality of product meets the client expectations.

• Analyse business requirements and come up with E2E integration tests to ensure high-quality solutions and meets the client’s business needs.
• Perform hands-on E2E validation for the product features and effectively interact with product managers, TPMs and engineering teams and communicate release status in terms of quality.
• Assist in developing & enhancing regression tests by closely working with engineering & automation fwk teams.
• Provide Support to troubleshoot client reported issues and work with TPM/Engg for prioritization and resolution.
• Work with Engg, TPM and client support teams to come up with enhancement to improve efficiency for client support cases.
• Become a go-to person for product/application by continuously learning about the product and MSCI business.

• Strong domain expertise in financial market. Understands financial products and has a desire to expand business knowledge on the product. Previous experience in Portfolio and/or Risk management or in ESG /Climate investing or similar domain is plus.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in End-to-end Testing for Financial Application/systems with experience in writing test cases, test plans
• Demonstrated experience of working with developers throughout the software development cycle from requirement definition to acceptance testing
• Detail oriented, analytical, Proactive and challenges the norms constructively and Able to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
• Good understanding of micro service-based architectures & operations in a heterogeneous environment and able to troubleshoot issues.
• Experience in Test automation or with any programming languages like Java, Python are a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or finance or Mathematical or Similar field. Preferably CFA certified, or similar certifications in Finance field
