Business Analyst in Watertown, Massachusetts

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in Newton, Massachusetts, for a Business Analyst. The successful candidate will be tasked with understanding business objectives, translating high-level requirements into stories for tech teams, and ensuring clear acceptance criteria. This role requires a good understanding of Agile Methodology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner with product and tech teams with equal ease.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and translate business objectives into high-level requirements

• Create clear and actionable stories for tech teams with well-defined acceptance criteria

• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze and solve complex problems

• Communicate effectively with various teams to ensure alignment and understanding of objectives and requirements

• Partner with product and tech teams to facilitate smooth implementation of solutions

• Perform data analysis to inform decision-making and strategy

• Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira and Informatica in day-to-day tasks

• Conduct Gap Analysis and design business process functions

• Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents

• Participate in Agile Scrum sessions and contribute to the development of business analysis best practices.N

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with Database management, ensuring data accuracy and security.

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems for effective information gathering and analysis.

• Ability to perform Gap Analysis to identify areas of improvement in business processes.

• Expertise in Informatica for efficient data integration and management.

• Experience with AB Testing to optimize user experience and business outcomes.

• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies for efficient project management.

• Familiarity with Business Process Functions to ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Ability to draft comprehensive Business Requirement Documents to guide project execution.

• Proficiency in Design techniques to effectively represent business processes and data flows.

• Broad experience in Business Analysis, including the identification of business needs and determination of solutions.
