Business Analyst in West Des Moines, Iowa

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Business Analyst role in the industry based in West Des Moines, Iowa. The Business Analyst will be tasked with analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of various internal customers across multiple small to medium scale projects. Your role will entail communicating with stakeholders and Product Owners, defining user requirements to the development team, and managing the project.

Responsibilities:

• Gather technical requirements to support the business needs.

• Document data process and system for future reference and clarity.

• Lead technical communications with Product Owners and other business contacts, ensuring clear understanding and expectations.

• Assist with Software Development Methodology practices, including story writing and utilizing associated toolsets.

• Oversee the coordination of projects, ensuring all elements are effectively managed.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.

• Leverage your skills in Atlassian Jira, CRM, Gap Analysis, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Claim Administration for efficient task execution. Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is a must for efficient project management and tracking.

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage and analyze customer interactions and data.

• Ability to conduct Gap Analysis to identify and bridge the gaps between the current state and the desired state of the business.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating and editing documents, reports, and proposals.

• Experience in AB Testing to compare two versions of a webpage or other user experience to determine which one performs better.

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology to manage and control software and product development.

• Understanding of Business Process Functions to analyze and improve business operations.

• Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents to clearly define the objectives and requirements of a project.

• Knowledge of Claim Administration to process insurance claims effectively.
