The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities within the HR sector and building strategic partnerships. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our company.If you are a driven and ambitious professional with a passion for HR and business development, we want to hear from you!As the Business Development Manager, your key tasks will include:1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to fill the sales pipeline with qualified prospects.
- Utilize various channels such as email campaigns, social media outreach, PPC, and partnerships to generate leads.
2. Client Acquisition and Conversion:
- Take a proactive approach to prospecting, engaging with potential clients and nurturing relationships to convert leads into clients.
- Customize presentations/demonstrations to showcase the practical and commercial benefits and ROI of our Linea and Linea Leader platforms, focusing on maximizing revenue opportunities.
3. Pipeline Management and Forecasting:
- Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and predictable revenue generation.
- Implement sales pipeline management best practices to prioritize opportunities, manage deal progression, and minimize sales cycle times.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews and forecasting meetings to assess pipeline health, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.
4. Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with complementary businesses to expand market reach and drive revenue growth.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and collaborate on joint marketing and sales initiatives to generate leads and accelerate sales cycles.
5. Team Recruitment, Training and Management:
- Recruit, onboard, and train a high-performing sales team capable of executing the sales strategy and achieving targets.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback to sales team members to ensure accountability and drive results.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and one-on-one coaching sessions to identify strengths, areas for improvement, and development opportunities.
6. Sales Enablement and Training:
- Provide the sales team with the tools, resources, and training they need to effectively sell SaaS solutions in a competitive market.
- Develop sales collateral, presentations, and case studies that highlight the commercial value proposition of our offerings.
- Conduct regular sales training sessions to enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and objection handling techniques.
- Evaluate and optimize sales processes, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve sales effectiveness.
- Optimise sales automation tools and CRM systems to track sales activities, manage leads, and analyze performance metrics.
7. Sales Process Optimization:

By effectively managing the sales team through leading from the front, the Business Development Manager can drive revenue growth, build a high-performing sales culture, and achieve long-term success for the business.Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Qualification in Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field (ideally).
- Extensive CRM experience, ideally salesforce/hubspot.
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales roles, ideally within the SaaS industry.
- Experience of managing and developing a sales team.
- Understanding of HR processes, challenges, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with HR professionals.
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen, with the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
- Results-oriented mindset.
- Highly organized with strong systems knowledge (sales automation tools and CRM systems)
