Objectives of the Position
Enable business unit to achieve their business target via efficient customer management, rebate management, and analytics.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
Customer Management:
- Ensure compliance to mandatory documentation pertaining to Customers to name a few: CP agreement, Commercial Policy, BPDD, Profiling, Balance Confirmations
- To ensure resolution of queries received through AgShop, Balance confirmations and during their one-to-one visit – Clear documentation and resolution provided to CP’s.
- Visit to CP’s (at least once a year) contributing 80% of BU business. The visit needs to be utilized for doing account reconciliation, explaining their account, and resolving queries, if any
- To ensure timely renewal of various central and state licenses which are required for doing business in the BU.
Rebate Management:
- To ensure adherence of SLA’s defined for issuance of rebates to Customers
- To ensure accuracy of rebate issuance in customer account, to flag any concerns regarding accuracy to the concerned team member
- To prepare Rebate policy for the BU well in advance, keeping clear documentation of the same as per audit requirements
- To communicate the schemes to Channel Partner and internal team and keeping a documentation of the same for future audit purpose
- To prepare reconciliation statement of rebates balance and rebate availability. Giving a head up well in advance for any increase in outflow/ saving
- Ensuring rebate accuracy of > 95% by end of the year
To enable BU, achieve their Market Performance Budget:
- Regular updated to BU regarding performance of various levers impacting the Market Performance of the BU, to name a few, realizations, Opex, Market Cost. Giving MIS on these levers and discussing the same with relevant team members is a must do activity
- To provide Cluster and territory performance vis-à-vis their budgets and actuals
Channel Partner and Market Insights:
- To ensure gathering of various insights during market visit on how other companies are doing in terms of Rebates/ Schemes and other Services.
- To ensure action on feedback given by Channel in NPS and taking necessary action in that regard

- Documentation of Insights and action taken for that matter
MIS and Analytics:
- Monthly, quarterly and Yearly MIS at BU, Territory, Cluster and Customer level for key insights on business progression, Customer achievement, most likely Opex and Market Performance, Key CP’s business progression, risk and opportunities
Job Requirements
Education: B.Com / M.Com / ICAI / MBA Finance / MBA-ABM
Working Experience: At least 3 – 8 years of experience in supporting Sales Operations or relevant roles
Technical & Professional Knowledge:
- Work experience in Agri Chemicals or Manufacturing will be an added advantage
- Excellent financial and business acumen
- Should be able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver desired results
- Good Communications skills along with analytical ability
- Should have hands on experience in Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to manage ambiguity and complexity with problem solving behavior
- Willingness to travel to the assigned geography (25% of the time will go in travelling)
