OverviewThe Business Insights Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the commercial teams by utilizing data analysis techniques to extract insights and from sales data and provide actionable recommendations to enhance sales performance and optimize business strategies. The data analyst will interact regularly with stakeholders and data providers (internal and external) to understand and transform data into appropriate user-friendly dashboards/visual solutions.ResponsibilitiesPosition: Business Insights Data AnalystReporting to: Global Manager, Business InsightsResponsibilities:

• Lead and manage data projects include project scoping, process mapping, liaising with stakeholders, making sure milestones are met, testing and rollout.
• Analyze sales data to optimize sales strategies, pricing, product positioning and to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
• Design and create innovative visualizations and dashboards to meet business needs, exhibiting a natural curiosity to identify patterns, trends, and performance insights.
• Collaborate with end users in the design of dashboards, metrics, and reports and translate technical concepts into language users with no prior subject matter knowledge can understand.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support to address specific sales-related inquiries.
• Provide front line support of tools; Investigate, troubleshoot and document data issues.
• Train end users on analytics tools created to support their processes and strategies.
• Support iterative design updates and analysis improvements for existing data/analytical products.
• Communicate and report project progress related to schedule and work performance to the necessary stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Create, maintain and follow documented business processes and procedures.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by maintaining data quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest data analysis tools and techniques and recommend improvements to existing processes.
• Participation in continuously improving business processes and standards
• Meet deadlines and complete administrative tasks such as expenses, training, reporting, policy acknowledgements, etc. in a timely manner.

QualificationsQualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, computer science or related field desired. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in a sales or marketing analytics function.
• 3+ years using SQL to query databases and reporting results in a summarized format.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python.
• Proficiency in process mapping, system and data flow diagrams.
• Familiarity with sales and marketing concepts and understanding of the medical devices industry is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and data integrity.
• Process oriented with strong attention to detail.
