Position Goal:

As the chief financial officer, the Business Manager administers the
business affairs of the District to provide the best educational
services within the available resources. The Business Manager is
responsible for managing District funds in accordance with board
policies, USFR, and Arizona Revised Statutes. Key areas of
responsibility include:

• Payroll
• Workers’ compensation
• Retirement
• Disability
• Unemployment
• Taxes
• Wage notices
• Contracts
• Accounts payable
• Purchasing
• Annual audit
• Revenues
• Banking
• Budgeting
• Financial reporting

Other:

The Business Manager ensures efficient and effective financial
operations, supporting the Districts educational mission through sound
fiscal management. Experience in school accounting is highly valued to
meet the specific financial needs of the educational environment.
