Established, local non-profit is looking for an experienced Business Manager to add to their team. Responsibilities will include:

• Control & coordinate operations & activities; approve operating plan.

• Submit annual budgets, proposed capital & extraordinary expenditure programs to Controller for review.

• Approve departmental operating & administrative policies & procedures.

• Coordinate long range plans & assess financial requirements needed, evaluate potential return & that requirements can be met.

• Administer company insurance programs; both business and worker’s compensation.

• Review & revise budget proposals according to corporate policy & submit.

• Responsible for developing system-wide program of company purchasing objectives & procedures.

• Compare performance with operating plans & standards & report and interpret results of operations to management.

• Hire, evaluate & supervise direct reports & operation of maintenance, building & business services to assure solid performance & efficient maintenance.

• With Executive Director, review operations to enlarge the scope of the company through suitable acquisitions & other contractual arrangements.

Requirements:

• Must have 4 year degree in Business Administration or Accounting; Masters or MBA is preferred

• Must have minimum of 3 years of Business Administration/Finance field & management experience

• Thorough knowledge of the laws, regulations and guidelines concerning business/finance in long-term care field

• Previous non-profit experience

• Servant Leader, positive mentor, desire to make a difference

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task

• Good communication skills both written & verbal

• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record to be insurable on company policy
