Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Business Supervisor. This position is based at our Orchard Park, NY facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 – $117700.04 a year.

This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

  • Accountable for ensuring orders are entered into the ERP system to achieve monthly, quarterly and FY bookings targets, within the site turn around time objectives.

  • Must be able to review quotes and orders, process return material with promptness and accuracy, clear contested invoices, customer expedites and follow up and be familiar with MSD part numbers and product lines.

  • Accountable for issuing quotes for all business-as-usual requests up to prescribed values and within the site turn around time objectives.

  • Negotiate and manage changes in customer demand to ensure accurate flow down in support of on time delivery and quality; and sales, inventory and operations planning (SIOP) initiatives.

  • Manage day to day activities of assigned Business Administrators and work with the Senior Business Administration Manager on team objectives and development.

  • Act as a key escalation point for customer concerns and resolution of commercial and contractual issues of assigned Business Administrators

  • Participate as an IPT cabinet member for front end of the business representing the voice of the customer within the IPT

  • Coordinates issue resolution by achieving a mutually acceptable solution between Eaton and the customer

  • Must be able to review quotes and orders, process return material with promptness and accuracy, clear contested invoices, customer expedites and follow up and be familiar with MSD part numbers and product lines.

  • Manage customer relationship and daily interactions for assigned customers. Implement, lead, or support customer action calls, customer visits, complaint resolution, etc.

  • Analyze and maintain metrics related to on- time delivery of quotations and quality of BA processes; collaborate with customer to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology and/or Business from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Aerospace, Defense, or engineered product manufacturing environment

  • Minimum of two (2) years experience administering contracts with a minimum value of $250K for technical products and/or services and 2 years of experience of demonstrated excellent customer and industry relationships.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of contracts negotiating experience

  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

  • No relocation is available for this opportunity. Only candidates residing within a 50 mile radius of Orchard Park, NY will be considered. Active Duty Military is exempt from this geographical limitation.

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Skills:

  • Demonstrated strong commercial acumen, pricing and negotiation experience, in relevant business contracting environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to function in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary sales and business development environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to interface with all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrable experience of implementing process improvement

  • Strong capability in forming long and strong customer relationships and winning or renewing large commercial contracts.

  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative and think laterally to solve problems or create new product/ service outcomes.
