Adecco is assisting one of their top clients with their search for a Business Support III in Berkeley Heights, NJ!$ 39.55/hr 12 month contract

As the US Business Partner Buyer , you will participate in the development and implementation of assigned sourcing initiatives across a business unit in close partnership with your business stakeholders. You will optimize cost and enhance overall supplier’s contract value.

You are expected to demonstrate a high level of analytical and financial proficiency as well as excellent communication skills and strong team spirit mindset to be successful in our highly collaborative environment.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

§ Approving purchase workflows through the Request-To-Pay tool (MyMarket)

§ Ensuring purchase strategies are enforced by your business stakeholders

§ Performing regular compliance analysis and reporting

§ Training and Supporting users on the MyMarket tool

§ Collaborating with your business stakeholders and managing small to mid-size sourcing projects, RFPs etc.

§ Identification and analysis of the Business requirements

§ Demand management and challenging of Business requirements

§ Advice on best suppliers to match with Business needs

§ Guidance on the best buying approach in the Request-To-Pay tool

§ Proactively propose improvements on the Request-To-Pay tool to increase efficiency and content (Catalogs, Preferred Supplier Lists, Rate Cards…)

§ Effectively collaborate with other sourcing teams (Category teams, data and content, vendor management, sourcing excellence)

§ Effective use of tools to ensure compliance with processes and data requirements

  • Implementation/rollout of zone and global sourcing initiatives, processes and strategies

Skills

§ Strong analytical and project management skills

§ Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be responsible for building relationships and influencing your business stakeholders and suppliers.

§ Exceptional MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, MS Teams)

§ Experience with Request-To-Pay and Source-To-Contract tools (Ariba, Ivalua, SAP, etc.)

Your Experience / Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

  • 3-5+ years experience in Sourcing preferred

Pay Details: $39.55 per hour
