European decarbonization targets are pushing organizations to accelerate the energy transition while volatile energy prices and security of supply concerns urge organizations to critically assess their current energy mix. In the Belgian market many transformations are needed and ongoing.We are looking for an ambitious Senior Manager/Director with capabilities to support our Business Transformation practice in developing further the energy sector.Your challenges
- You are responsible to further develop the KPMG business transformation practice in Belgium, primarily in terms of service offering but also in terms of go to market initiatives.
- Operationally manage transformation projects
- Over time, you will need to become a reliable point of contact for C-level client contacts, developing and sustaining strong and long-lasting client relationships and understanding of their broader business needs
- Develop new value propositions that emerge from trends on the energy market, burning customer challenges and insights from other practices at KPMG while leveraging on your in-depth experience of the energy market.
- Operationally coordinate a team of highly motivated professionals and provide on the job training in energy market mechanisms to our team of young professionals
- Build and maintain your internal network within KPMG, both nationally and internationally with the perspective to raise awareness regarding the value proposition and co-create opportunities.

- 10 years or more of work experience in the Energy Sector or in Energy management, with bulk of the experience related to the Belgian/European energy market.
- You have an academic diploma.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading finance transformation projects.
- Demonstrable conceptual and/or strategic work experience.
- Detail orientated and well organized with a strong work ethic
- Open mind with the flexibility to manage teams in a fast-moving environment with changing client requirements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Business consulting skills offering concrete and specific information to help solve a problem or improve a process for a business: creative thinking; thinking conceptually and practically; collaboration; organization and time management; flexibility; curiosity.
- Fluency in English and either Dutch or French (both written and spoken).
