Job description

We are looking for a Buyer to join our team at our manufacturing site in Swords, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase materials needed for production and services, ensuring timely delivery.
• Use ‘Lean Supply’ methods to meet delivery and inventory goals.
• Monitor important metrics like on-time delivery, inventory levels, cost, quality, and service.
• Work with suppliers to resolve issues and ensure they meet performance targets.
• Conduct business reviews with suppliers to discuss performance and agree on improvements.
• Support cost reduction projects as part of our site’s productivity program.
• Collaborate with Strategic Procurement to optimize the supply base.

About You:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (QQI level 8).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Procurement, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with suppliers across Europe, Asia, and North America.
