We recognise and understand that employees have missed spending quality time with loved ones and extended family.As such, Cork Qualcomm policy allows our employees to blend short-term remote working with annual leave.As a CAD Engineer focusing on the methodology and support of RTL design verification, you will work with architecture, design, software andverification leads to develop technology critical to the development of our products.You will be involved from conception to final creation and every step along the way, interface with various cross functional teams and external vendors .What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in CAD tool/flow development.
  • 4+ years of experience with Programming Language such as Python, Perl, Rust, etc.
  • 4+ years of experience with scripting and automation environments.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
  • Strong experience in developing and supporting regression flows/systems, CI/CD, GIT workflow, profiling, coverage.

Roles/Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain flows, scripts and systems around the RTL and Verification development work cycle like RTL simulators, emulators, Coverage etc.
  • Work with the users and IT to fine tune utilization of the grid and optimize scaling to run millions of tests per day.
  • Define methodologies and architect flow solutions tied to internal and vendor-based RTL/Verification CAD tools.
  • Using big-data and analytics platforms like Splunk to provide relevant data and visualizations for design environment efficiency.
  • Interact with DV team to diagnose the root cause of complex problems, propose solutions to solve them and guide engineers.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across geographies.

Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
