CAD Technician – Telecom

Job Description

Our Telecom team at Olsson is at the forefront of revolutionizing the telecommunication industry. We constantly think about new solutions and find innovative ways to improve telecommunication planning and design. From deploying cutting-edge technologies to developing efficient infrastructure, our team’s work shapes the future of how communities stay connected.

As a CAD Technician on our Telecom team, you will work collaboratively with engineers and other technicians on the team using CAD software to create plans and perform design work. You will also contribute to project production sheets by adding dimension/layout plans and title/detail sheets.

You may also travel occasionally to job sites for observation, and/or field work, working in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

Qualifications

You bring to the team:

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Associate’s degree in drafting or similar program is preferred.
• 2 or more years of drafting experience preferred.
• Ability to meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of CAD software required.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS Software (ArcMap and ArcPro) is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
