As the Catalogue Support Manager, you will contribute to keeping people and parts moving throughout the world, through strong catalogue integrity – ensuring that we have accurate and thorough product application information, especially relating to own brand. You will work closely with the Merchandise team to ensure maximum return on effort, whilst also working with vendors to ensure that their products are appropriately represented in our catalogue. In addition to this you will provide appropriate support to the network and customers.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Maintain accurate master catalogue files
  • Management of a team of seven direct reports, spread across both Australia and New Zealand
  • Ensure that the teams efforts are aligned with business strategies
  • Interact of a frequent basis with stakeholders to ensure needs are being met
  • Ensure that our Own Brands are optimised in the system to the standard of market leading brands
  • Ensure optimised category presentation on various platforms
  • Maintain a framework for the team to conduct research into non passenger vehicles (mining/agri etc) to create catalogue gaps and listings
  • Utilise VPA or other reporting to gain insight into catalogue opportunities and manage through to implementations
  • Ensure that the Store and Customer feedback process is appropriately managed and that queries are resolved inline with an agreed framework and SLA’s
  • Keep up to date with changes and technology and catalogue data structures within the automotive / industrial industry, by aligning with catalogue team and external industry sources
  • Produce regular reporting and information on market changes with regards to new vehicles and market segments both locally and overseas.

Role Requirements:

  • Previous digital catalogue experience in a fast paced, high volume consumer and/or trade business
  • Experience in the management of a geographically diverse team (desirable)
  • Understanding of vehicle mechanics and automotive part structures
  • Knowledge of user experience in part/product selection
  • Supplier Management (desirable)
  • Data analysis, reporting and problem solving
  • Intermediate MS Office
  • Tertiary – University or Trade Qualification
