This role ensures continuous product supply with a strategically aligned supply base which supports our competitiveness in terms of pricing (best value) to our customers and end consumers.The Procurement Manager BIFG is responsible for a business and product aligned sourcing plan and strategy. This includes supporting development of our category strategy (working with the product, insights and marketing teams), supplier base management, building and improving strategic suppliers’ partnerships, negotiating ex-work suppliers’ product prices, and defining contractual terms and conditions.This role needs a strong team player who functions well as a leader and as part of a multifunctional team. Day-to-day management and development of team members within their role is key as this position has one direct report.Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Tender, nomination and supplier management of BIFG portfolio for Ireland aligned with the defined product strategy.
- Manage Contract Management and Lead Pricing negotiations with Suppliers.
- Drive Procurement benefit projects to implementation through daily interface with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and implement the strategic sourcing plans for the category or sub-categories which take into account both the wider and local business considerations
- Diagnose needs of the local market in terms of sourcing in line with ARYZTA Ireland’s business strategy.
- Materialise procurement savings and ensure ARYZTA is always sourcing the best value product
- Identify & execute product migrations with suitable supply partners.
- Ensure continuity of supply.
- Resolution or escalation of supply issues unable to be resolved by supply chain or QA.
- Collate supplier performance data for strategic supplier reviews.
- Responsible for the maintenance of accurate and timely pricing (for local contracts) and supplier information in ERP system.
- Engage with internal stakeholders in order to generate ideas and opportunities.
- Day-to-day management of team member.
Required Experience
- Experienced Negotiator
- Skilled in Relationship Management both internal and external
- Category management and data analysis
- Team player as well as strong project leader
- Previous experience managing a wide range of suppliers within BIFG (Bought In Finished Goods)
- Experience working with SAP
