Job description

CE Childcare Assistant, the Play Room Project, Drogheda Womens and Childrens Refuge Centre, Drogheda, Co Louth. Eligibility for CE will have to be confirmed by the local DSP Office. If you are aged between 21 and 55 years In general, you must be unemployed and in reciept of a DSP payments for at least 12 months e.g. Jobseeker’s Benefit/Jobseeker’s Allowance/ Jobseeker’s Transitional payment/One-Parent Family Payment/Disability Allowance from 18 years old, Blind Pensioner, Invalidity Pension, etc. If you are aged 21 and over, and are getting JB or JA, you can have worked up to 30 days in the 12 months before starting the CE scheme You are required to work 19.5 hrs per week. No experience/ training and or qualification are required as they will be provided on your CE Scheme. Staff will receive funding towards QQI level 5 / 6 training.
