Maynooth Community Employment Project Position: Community Employment Scheme Supervisor (Full -time) Location: Maynooth, Co. Kildare Maynooth Community Employment Project is seeking to recruit a CE Supervisor on a 12-month rolling contract subject to approval from the Department of Social Protection (DSP). The role entails the effective and efficient management and coordination of the human, financial and material resources of the CE Scheme and reporting to the Board on its implementation. A core aspect of the role is to support and coach CE participants towards gaining the skills, competencies and qualifications in preparation for employment through approved training and the on the job activities of the project. The main activities of the project are to produce the monthly Maynooth Newsletter, and to provide support to local community groups and secretarial services to the public. Additionally, grounds maintenance services are provided in Maynooth Harbour and Maynooth Town Football Club. Candidates should have completed a qualification at NFQ level 6 or higher in a relevant discipline such as Business/Financial Administration, Training, People Management, Project Management or other relevant disciplines and have three years supervisory management experience or equivalent. Competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Big Red Book Payroll are essential. Knowledge and experience of Canva would be an advantage. Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to prepare management reports are required. This is a full-time position – working 39 hours per week. The salary for the role is the DSP Supervisor Salary Scale, commencing at Point 1 on the Scale €671.97 rising to point 4 €811.59.
