**Please ensure you download, save and read the Job Specification **Location of Post:There are currently permanent / specified purpose /part time / whole-time vacancy available in all our designated centres and positions will be allocated according to the service needs and there may be a requirement to be relocated from initial location within SSIDs\Beech park respiteCommunity Healthcare East – Southside Intellectual Disability Service & Respite Services for Children with AutismA panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Community Healthcare East Intellectual Disability Service and Children Respite service from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled as they arise.All suitably qualified Nurses are invited to apply for positions.We are very interested to receive applications from all Undergraduates/Graduates who are interested in working as a Staff (Intellectual Disabilities) in the HSE. Undergraduates successful at interview will be made dormant on the panel until they provide evidence that they have registered in the relevant division with NMBI. This means that undergraduates cannot be offered jobs until they are qualifiedPurpose of the Post:The role of the Staff Nurse Intellectual Disability (ID) is to provide holistic, person-centred nursing care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users with intellectual, physical or sensory disability in all aspects of daily living.The Staff Nurse (ID) must practice in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct as set out by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and within the policies, guidelines, protocols of the units / settings in which they are employed.
