Here’s where you come in:
As the Chief Finance Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the Finance and Supply Chain functions. In the Finance area, you will ensure the development of relevant financial information and timely financial budgeting and planning. You will manage and control the organisation’s financial processes, leading a culture of good stewardship that balances strategic alignment with innovation and creativity.
You will lead:
- Global Finance – including Financial Strategy, Planning, Budgeting and Reporting (including Board reporting)
- Regional and National Finance Team
- Global Treasury
- Partnership wide implementation of 3 Shared Services Hubs (Americas, Manila and Ghana) – priority will be Finance Shared Services which will gain the greater financial efficiencies together with process effectiveness. This will be followed by but also be in tandem to other shared services requirements across strategic functions.
- Supply Chain Management will implement best practice procurement and supply chain practices to improve effectiveness and reduce costs throughout the Partnership.
- Corporate Real Estate Function
Requirements include:
- MBA and/or ACA/CPA (or international equivalent) with strong financial management and numerical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of management and financial accounting, planning and analysis. Consistent achievement in developing and delivering effective financial strategies and experience of financial risk management and the requirements for large global organisations.
- Experience of capital markets, Treasury and currency exchange management. Experience of Banking or micro-enterprise experience would be an advantage.
- Sound knowledge and evidence of best practice financial strategies in a commercial and/or charity environment.
- Leadership, motivational and change management skills: proven senior management experience in a complex environment, including the ability to lead a large multi-disciplinary team. Experience of working at Board level in a sizeable organisation.
- A deep personal commitment to World Vision’s vision, mission and core values.
- Leadership experience in both INGOs and large multinational/international corporations is strongly preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
