The LYCS First Steps Creche is a community based Early Years Education Service, currently providing up to 70 childcare places. Successful applicants will have access to accredited training & educational programmes to support their career development. Under the direction of the Room Leader and Creche Manager Duties will include: • Ensure an excellent standard of hygiene is maintained in the room you are assigned to. • Attend staff meetings • Attend training as required. • Conduct observations of children in the Room • Plan and implement activities for different age groups. • Support children’s development. • Support staff in a variety of tasks. • Follow policies and procedures of the service. • Work with children from babies to preschool • Carry out other tasks as assigned by the creche manager Garda Vetting required.
