An excellent opportunity to gain work experience and a professional qualification in childcare. The LYCS First Steps Creche is a community based Early Years Education Service, currently providing up to 70 childcare places. Successful applicants will have access to accredited training & educational programmes to support their career development. Under the direction of the Room Leader and Creche Manager Duties will include: Support children’s development. Support staff in a variety of tasks. Work with children from babies to preschool Ensure an excellent standard of hygiene is maintained in the rooms Attend staff meetings Attend training as required. Conduct observations of children in the Room Plan and implement activities for different age groups. Follow policies and procedures of the service. Work with children from babies to preschool Carry out other tasks as assigned by the creche manager Garda Vetting required.
