This position offers a unique opportunity for a Scientific & Medical Advisor to contribute to a noble cause in the not-for-profit sector. The successful candidate will utilize its expertise to provide clinical and medical support to oncology clinical trials and research programs within a stimulating and rewarding environment.As a successful Scientific & Medical Advisor, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide scientific and medical advice/guidance/expertise to support clinical trials and research programs in line with the organization’s goals and mission
- Lead scientific and medical discussions and contribute to the conception of new clinical trials and research programs
- Contributes to the development of grand applications
- Maintain a strong understanding of current scientific developments and trends in the field of Oncology
- Assist in the preparation of scientific reports, documents and publications
- Review study documents, contract and budgets
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Research teams and international stakeholders on the clinical studies and research programs
- Contribute to scientific/ medical training & scientific contents to raise awareness on Oncology research
- Represent the organization at local and international conferences.
Scientific & Medical Advisor – NGO – Clinical Studies – Research |Healthcare – Clinical Trials – Oncology – Phase II/III – Brussels – ENGAs a successful Scientific & Medical Advisor, you will have the following profile:
- Advanced medical/ paramedical pharmaceutical/biology degree
- +5 years of experience in clinical research
- Previous experience in oncology trials
- Previous experience in grant applications is preferred
- Experience with international stakeholders interactions (KOL, Academic researchers, pharma industries …)
- Strong knowledge of GCP, methodologies and regulations related to Phase II/III clinical trials
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills with an eyes for details
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- English is mandatory, French and/or Dutch being a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
