Job description

Role: Cloud Network ArchitectLocation: Mostly remote, with occcasional travel to LondonRate: Inside IR35 (negotiable on rate)Duration: Initial 3-month contract (high likelihood of extension)Xpertise are urgently looking for a Network Cloud Architect/Technical Architect for an immediate start on a huge transformation programme.Candidates will have the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience as a Network Architect / Technical Architect / Cloud Architect
• Proven architecture experience of AWS environments
• Experience designing and implementing scalable and secure network architecture both in cloud and on-prem environments
• Proven experience with design implementation using code

• Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation and Bicep
• Proven experience of networking protocols including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, BGP and SDN
• Proven experience of Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco and Checkpoint
• Proven experience of Cloud, Hybrid Cloud and Multi Cloud networking
• A strong knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps environments and related technologies
• A strong knowledge of Jenkins, Gitlab and other similar CI/CD tools
• A strong knowledge of Zero Trust Security and High Availability Content Delivery
• Proven experience in large-scale Agile/Scrum environments
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNP and/or JNCIP, AWS Solutions Architect, etc)

Role is remote with occasional travel to London – inside IR35 – initial 3-month engagement (long term contract expected)
