As a Cluster Accounts Manager, you’ll be making all the difference to the business by leading a team in achieving and developing the business objectives. You will be assisting the Financial Controller in optimising profitability within the business. Take a deep breath because you’ll be stepping into a busy role! You’ll be managing the finance team within the cluster hub in the delivery of the finance function, serving internal and external customers.

In this Cluster Accounts Manager role, you will predominantly be based at The Dilly, however flexibility to work from any of the hotels in the region is essential.

As a Cluster Accounts Manager, you will:

  • Be yourself!
  • Be self-motivated as you will be working as part of a dispersed team
  • Be security conscious – you will be dealing with sensitive data
  • Be detailed oriented – you will be producing monthly financial reports based on month end accounts
  • Ensure all banking transactions are processed and cleared in a timely manner
  • Support with weekly and monthly payroll, and ensure these are all signed for accordingly
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheets, reconciliations and forecasts, and budgets with the Cluster Financial Controllers across the group

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • Have an excellent level of business English.
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Be able to demonstrate a basic understanding & interpretation of financial reports.
  • Have excellent attention to detail, organised and can work to strict deadlines.
  • Have experience in team development.
  • Have commercial understanding and business.
  • Have proven competence in the use of accounting and PMS systems.
  • Possess very good IT skills in Office applications.
  • Experience of Opera, Micros and SAP.
  • Be flexible regarding travel and work hours, with a possibility of overnight stay.
  • Experience of hospitality is ideal

Knowledge Required

  • Up-to-date knowledge of accounting and finance practice and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (in particular excel).
  • Understanding of Opera / Fidelio PMS systems to include Sales & Catering.
  • Keep abreast of industry news / performance / relevant new initiatives.
