The Task At Hand:

We are looking for an individual who seeks optimization, prioritizes organization, and can bring teams together cross-functionally to execute to the highest standards. The role will manage relationships, report progress on a wide variety of projects and commercializations, and drive performance to deliver top-quality products while staying competitive in cost.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Establish and maintain contract manufacturing relationships by acting as the primary point of contact for manufacturers on both day-to-day production operations and high-level initiatives
  • Manage continuous improvement projects
  • Manage, track, analyze, and interpret KPIs and present reports on them monthly with copackers, including but not limited to consumption, disposition, and run rate reports
  • Work with the commercialization team on new products and updates
  • Manage specification sharing and BOM updates
  • Report out production issues/delays and lead contingency plans
  • Participate and assist with onboarding new copackers
  • Work cross-functionally with manufacturing partners monthly for execution of production needs and capacity
  • Ensure at a high level that the cross-functional team is fulfilling its obligations to the manufacturing partners, and appropriately advocate for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with the Director of Contract Manufacturing on the overall manufacturing strategy for each category, including analyzing data and making recommendations to the business
  • Manage and lead Quarterly Contract Manufacturer scorecard review processes for contract manufacturing partners
  • Other duties as assigned

In This Role, You’ll Bring With You:

  • 1-3 years of professional Food and Beverage industry experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment
  • Six Sigma Certificate a plus
  • Strong attention to details
  • Strong analytical skills, with prior experience analyzing, interpreting, and presenting ERP and Excel data
  • Project management experience desired
  • Preferred locations are the Midwest and/or West Coast
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms
  • Up to 30% travel required: Although this role is a remote work-from-home position, we “Farmers” do meet as a company and/or as a department a few times a year. Anticipate possible travel up to a few times each quarter
  • Genuinely passionate about improving childhood nutrition for a healthier and happier planet
  • Desire to contribute to a dynamic high-growth, purpose-driven work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity, deeply understand business needs, develop a cohesive strategy, and make decisions requiring a high level of judgment
  • Previous exposure to cross-functional work between Sustainability and Operations preferred
  • Must reside in the United States to be considered for this position

Compensation:

  • Full-time, Salaried, Exempt
  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses, stipends, equity, and role-specific perks.
