Mō te tūranga – About the role

As a Relationship Manager in ANZ’s Business & Agri function, you’ll play a key role in helping to support and enhance the financial wellbeing of ANZ’s Commercial & Agri clients across the Southern Auckland region. This role is responsible for building and maintaining critical commercial relationships and identifying opportunities to expand and strengthen ANZ’s market presence.

As a Commercial & Agri Relationship Manager role at ANZ, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Build sustainable long-term commercial client relationships and grow critical customer portfolios across a range of commercial and Agricultural sectors
  • Provide customers with effective, value-added solutions whilst managing potential risks and applying financial analysis to identify key insights
  • Collaborate with various teams across the Business & Agri function and beyond to support the growth and ongoing success of your customers
  • Align with overall business strategies to source and maximise new business, increase effectiveness and keep up to date with market and economic trends

Ōu Pūkenga? – What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Proven experience in commercial relationship management, business development, portfolio and/or account management
  • Previous experience in banking/financial/accounting, or relevant experience would be highly beneficial
  • Sound knowledge of the Agri environment and rural sector
  • Ability to work independently, work with a team with proven analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Proven networking skills to enhance customer relationships, maximize, and grow portfolios
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
