COMMERCIAL MANAGEROur client, a leader in the manufacturing of specialty fasteners and are committed to providing quality, value added products and services are looking to hire a Commercial Manager to drive front-end activities and elevate our commercial operations to new heights. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies, fostering process excellence, and delivering unparalleled customer experiences.RESPONSIBILITIES:· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide insights for continuous improvement and innovation.· Follow up on all issued quotes and proposals, analyse feedback and make improvements where required.· Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to enhance revenue and profitability.· Implement commercial-related process improvements and best practices across various functions.· Conduct process audits and assessments to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.· Analyse sales and market data to identify new opportunities for customers, products and markets.· Analyse Point of Sale data to identify new commercial and margin improvement areas.· Create and present significant project proposals, actively participating in deal closures.· Manage positive, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.· Provide excellent customer service and support while motivating and guiding the commercial team.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and timelines.· Lead and motivate the commercial team, providing ongoing guidance, feedback, and training.· Monitor and measure the impact and effectiveness of commercial process improvement projects.· Provide training and coaching on commercial process improvement tools and techniques.· Create and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, diagrams, and manuals.· Identify and pursue new business opportunities and customer leads in all industrial markets.· Research industry trends and propose innovative solutions to suit.· Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.· Manage new project and product budgets and report on financial performance and profitability.· Direct Application Engineering activities within Europe, focusing on a technically strong print position.REQUIREMENTS:· Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (master’s degree or professional qualification is a plus).· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial-related management role, preferably in manufacturing.· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software tools.· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.For more information, please email or click Apply Now button above.
