Company Farms Manager

SUMMARY: The Company Farms Manager is responsible for overseeing the assigned company farms performance to the expected results. The incumbent also provides consultation and direction necessary to enable Broiler Caretakers to perform their duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Oversee the assigned company owned farm(s) performance and grow out program.
• Prepare and analyze reports and records. Present monthly presentation(s) with current farm performance metrics.
• Schedule operational needs (litter, spray truck, office & farm supplies, fresh bedding, treatments, trash service, etc).
• Manage the training to continually improve knowledge and skills in successful broiler grow out.
• Ensure all bio-security principles and animal welfare regulations are strictly followed.
• In coordination with the Broiler Operations Manager, participate in the strategic operational plans in broiler production.
• Keep equipment in working conditions, repair and/or replace as needed.
• Attend department and safety meetings.
• RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Required
• Bachelor of Science degree or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Live Poultry Operations or similar skill set
• Preferred
• Previous supervisory experience
