Job description

We are looking for an experienced Funds Company Secretary to operate within a growing global Law firm. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience to be considered and must have relevant Irish Funds experience. The role offers Hybrid working and plenty of perks!Perks:

Key Responsibilities

  • The provision of company secretarial services and board support services to a range of clients, including hedge funds and private equity funds

Meeting support to client entities will include:

  • Creating agendas, collation and distribution of meeting packs and liaising with relevant service providers
  • Management of board, advisory and shareholder meetings, including acting as company secretary for the purposes of taking meeting minutes
  • Preparation of detailed meeting minutes, distribution of board minutes, arranging for signatures and carrying out of post-meeting actions as required
  • Act as a primary relationship manager for a diverse portfolio of clients and the conduit with respective attorneys and external service providers on a range of administrative matters
  • Assist management with a range of corporate governance projects, including documentation of processes, protocols and systemisation
  • Take responsibility for invoicing and AR management

About you:

  • A minimum of five years’ relevant experience in industry and/or professional practice
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current corporate governance requirements in the Cayman Islands and an appreciation of the regulatory requirement of the ADGM/ DIFC
  • Demonstrable experience attending, running, and co-ordinating board meetings, and the ability to prepare detailed minutes of such meetings in a timely manner
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in law, business, or corporate governance with a strong academic background
  • A proven track record and ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment, enjoys multi-tasking and can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good project management skills
