An Exciting opportunity for a Compliance Engineer to join a leading aviation solutions company on a fixed term 11-12 months contract. This position is available in Shannon, Co. Clare. In this role, you will support continuous improvement initiatives, and you will cultivate an organizational culture that prioritizes safety and adherence to regulatory standards.Overview of Main Responsibilities (full job description available on request):
- Preparation and performance of audits to satisfy the Aviation regulatory compliance oversight requirements across the business units
- Preparation and performance of compliance oversight walks.
- Preparation and submission of Mandatory and non-mandatory occurrence Reports.
- Liaising with Regulatory authorities and the Customers’ Quality Assurance personnel
- Conducting incident investigations and compilation of incident reports.
- Addressing feedback issues from employees.
- Provides and articulates information regarding risk and compliance issues within the organization.
- Analyses technical data for trends related to events and occurrences.
- Process management.
- Investigate opportunities to increase the efficiency of processes.
What the ideal Compliance Engineer looks like:
- An engineering degree or Quality Assurance 3rd level qualification
- Previously held a QA position in a 145, 147, Part M, Part 21 or Part ORO organization
- Experience in aviation accident/ incident investigation and human factors would be an advantage.
- Possess excellent report writing skills.
