One of the world’s top 10 software companies is looking for a Contract QA Engineer to join their inclusive and collaborative team in Hounslow. This full-time hybrid role comes with an attractive contract rate of up to 400 per day, initially for 12 months.As a Contract QA Engineer, you will define test cases from customers’ requirements and ensure traceability with specifications. Please note this position requires you to be responsible for the project, product or release quality control.To give you an idea of how this Contract QA Engineer role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

• Implement and maintain the test strategy
• Participate in specification with product owners and product definition analysts
• Enrich the regression test suites based on the defined test plan
• Design test cases and develop automated test case scripts
• Prepare test environment, test data, and execute test cases

To apply, you will need five years of experience working as a quality engineer for API testing on Service Oriented Architecture applications (aka OBE systems). You will also require the following:

• Experience in product testing or testing phase of product implementation of complex backend systems
• Experience in testing as part of Agile Scrum team
• Experience working with ALM, Jenkins, Confluence, GIT, Bit-bucket
• Automation experience with READYAPI/ POSTMAN PRO/ REST-ASSURED/ etc Using XML/ JSON
• Any hotel industry experience would be highly desirable
