CONTRACTS ENGINEERLOCATION BRISTOL (MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO SITE 3 DAYS A WEEK)PERMANENTPACKAGE: £37K-50K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCEOVERVIEWMy client is a global Energy and utilities brand with a instantly recognisable brand. They are urgently seeking a Contracts Engineer to join them in Bristol working on a very well known project at Hinkley Point.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support to Contract Engineering Lead (CEL) and/or Contract Technical lead (TL) concerning various technical topics linked to the contract

• Support the review of supplier documentation by ensuring stakeholder reviews are completed and collating comments, respecting contractual deadlines and ensuring a good level of quality.

• Produce comment sheets via dedicated tool to the supplier and support TL in discussions with supplier if needed

• Manage modifications and open points on the contract using dedicated change management tools

• Prepare variations (CTS) in event of modifications to inform supplier and client via dedicated tools

• Support resolution of various modifications, technical issues, or non-conformities coming from site activities or design teams

• Coordinate interfaces with all disciplines implicated in the contract (system, electrical, piping, layout, I&C, etc.); and especially with the qualification team locatied in EDVANCE France

• Writing surveillance plan and reports.

• Liaise with CEL / TL / Group lead to communicate progress, risks, issues and planning to support contract delivery.

KEY SKILLS & REQUIRMENTS

• Microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook)

• MAGIC software

• 3D viewer (Naviswork,)

• Good Spoken and written English

• Expected approach to be conscientious, enthusiastic about the subject with good interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
