Job description

A Controls & Automation Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our Dublin based Client – an award-winning technology company developing very high precision electro/ mechanical optical assemblies. Role is reporting into the company’s Hardware Controls Manager.ROLE:

• Instrumentation integration.

• Bench testing components.

• System documentation.

• Experimental design and set-up.

• System construction and testing.

• System debugging and troubleshooting.

• Light data analysis

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree in relevant Engineering discipline

• 3+ years’ experience in the role of controls engineer, automation engineer, systems engineer or related disciplines.

*Experience wiring and testing instrumentation.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Hands-on experience with complex systems.

Desirable:

• PLCs.

• Motion Control.

• Microcontroller experience.

• LabVIEW.

• Solidworks Electrical.
