????Departament and Project description: 

The Network Operations Center (NOC) is the heartbeat of our IT infrastructure, where dedicated professionals work around the clock to monitor, manage, and maintain our network’s performance. 

What We Do: 

  • Real-Time Monitoring: Ensure network stability by detecting and resolving issues like disruptions and malware.
  • Incident Response: Learn to assess and respond to incidents, escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Maintenance & Optimization: Engage in regular updates and troubleshooting to enhance performance.
  • Proactive Measures: Help prevent downtime by analyzing network health and implementing improvements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with various IT teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Automation Tools: Streamline routine tasks to reduce errors and lighten the workload.

On the project you will have the opportunity to work on a team of NOC EMEA, all of them from different backgrounds and countries with innovative ideas and use some of the last Network technologies in the market. 

???? What will you learn? 

1. Network Fundamentals: 

  • Understanding basic network design and architecture.
  • Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VLAN
  1. 2. Network Monitoring and Management:
  • Using network monitoring tools like Logic Monitor, Catalyst Center to track network performance.
  • Configuring and managing network devices, including switches, WLC, routers.
  1. 3. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
  • Diagnosing and resolving network issues using tools like Catalyst Center or Wireshark
  • Implementing effective solutions to prevent future problems.
  1. 4. Customer Service and Communication:
  • Interacting with clients to resolve their issues and provide support
  • Explaining technical concepts to non-technical users
  1. 5. Proactive Maintenance:
  • Performing regular updates and maintenance to ensure network stability
  • Analyzing network health and implementing improvements
  1. 6. Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Working with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
  • Participating in escalation processes for complex issues
  1. 7. Programming:
  • Automation Scripts in Python, Ansible
  • Jinja templates

???? Are you who we are looking for? 

  • Currently studying IT/ Computer Science / Engineering or relevant studies
  • Knowledge of Python or Ansible
  • Basic Network Knowledge
  • Proactive and with a growth mindset
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbally as you will be part of a global team.
  • Be able to work between 4 and 6 hours a day (Monday to Friday)
  • To be able to make an internship agreement with your university or study center for a period of at least 6 months.
