Corteva Agriscience Benelux is looking for Customer Technical Specialist (CTS) North Netherlands

Corteva Agriscience markets an extensive package of crop protection products, sowing seeds and seed treatments. A filled pipeline of new products and technologies is ready to be introduced in the coming years. In addition to traditional resources, Corteva Agriscience focuses on the development of innovative biological solutions.

The Benelux organization of Corteva Agriscience works with a compact and close-knit team in which knowledge sharing and cooperation are central: people support each other and step in where necessary. Achieving a joint result is goal. To expand our Benelux team, we are looking for a Customer Technical Specialist North Netherlands.

Purpose:

The Customer Technical Specialist collects and interprets the technical needs of growers, advisors, partners and stakeholders in the crop protection chain. The CTS translates these needs into questions that need to be answered through trial fields and demonstration platforms. He or she ensures a good technical positioning of our crop protection products together with our R&D and marketing & sales team. The CTS is an independent team player with preferably knowledge of and experience in crop protection.

Main responsibilities:

• Organizes demonstration trials and platforms for new and existing products and gives guided tours; creates protocols for this and uses European databases
• Maintains contacts with partners in the chain, advisors, end users, officials and other stakeholders in the crop protection market to optimally position and support our product range
• Creates presentations and technical literature to support product positioning
• Contributes to the correct technical positioning of our crop protection products in the Benelux market
• Consults with R&D, marketing and sales about the purpose and design of trials
• Keep colleagues actively informed about the progress of trials
• Contributes to making business cases for new products & cultivation solutions

Location:

You work from your ‘home office’ combined with a regular presence at the office in Bergen op Zoom. The working area is Netherlands, with a focus on the North of the Netherlands.

Qualifications

Job requirements

• At least an HBO working and thinking level
• Technical knowledge of crops and crop protection products.
• Practical knowledge of crops, diseases and pests and preferably some affinity with testing in fields
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing

Competencies:

• Team spirit and strongly focused on cooperation, but at the same time very able to work independently
• Being able to work accurately and systematically
• Good communication and presentation skills, active listening
• Stand firm in your shoes and be able to take constructive feedback
• Knowledge of the market and being able to work in a market-oriented manner, having a commercial feeling
• Being able to respond flexibly to rapidly changing market conditions.
