Are you a seasoned Customs Compliance and Freight Analyst ready to take on a pivotal role? Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the Coffee Network Strategy implementation and operation. With a focus on supporting/embedding all administrative processes, arranging and scheduling transportation from the UK to Poland, UK to Germany, Germany to the UK and Poland and executing customs declarations for exports of roasted coffee from the UK. A bit about the role…
Day to day your responsibilities will be to infuse value into the operational export and import functions and ensure that the business is fully compliant with HMRC processes … If you possess the expertise and enthusiasm for this position, we eagerly await your application! In addition to this, you will:
Support all aspects of route planning to ensure import/export programmes are planned and communicated in an optimised/efficient manner and aligned with the internal customs team
Liaise with internal stakeholders and carriers to fully understand the scope of requirements and produce cost-efficient transport modes/routes
Recommendations to drive efficiency and analysing previous output to drive performance improvements and issue resolution
Reacting rapidly and effectively to delays, changes and ‘inflight’ issues across each mode
Monitoring TMS and live tracking where available and liaising with internal stakeholders and/or carriers; receiving Distribution Centre/delivery points as necessary to make changes
Providing holiday / Business continuity cover for Global Transport & International Logistics Manager
