Design and develop database architectures and data models.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to define data requirements and solutions.
Oversee data integration, migration, and warehousing activities.
Implement best practices for data management and governance.
Must have or be eligible for and willing to undergo UK Government security vetting (at least to Security Clearance level)
Willingness to travel to client sites
Desirable Skills:
Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
Experience working in the Defence, Nuclear or the Public Sector industries
Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Proficiency in data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Requirements
Experienced at designing public and private cloud solutions at an enterprise level
Able to select the most appropriate Cloud provider and services to meet the project requirements
Experience with a range of cloud programming and management tools
Demonstrable knowledge of a breadth of application architectures and how different cloud infrastructures support them
Excellent communication skills
Experience of describing a technical subject to a non-technical audience
Desirable
