Job description
Experienced mature Data Engineer required with a strong background in Azure Synapse and proven experience in Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with exposure to Microsoft Fabric being a distinct advantage. This role requires exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Synapse.
Create and manage Power BI reports and dashboards to deliver actionable insights.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering practices and processes.
Manage and mentor junior data engineers, providing guidance and support.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering.
Strong proficiency with Azure Synapse.
Proven experience in creating and managing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
Excellent SQL skills and experience with data modeling.
Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
