Company DescriptionAre you passionate about energy, sustainability, and technology, with a drive to create impactful data solutions?Flexcity, a leading European energy tech company within the Veolia Group is looking for a resourceful Data Scientist to join our Data team.Job DescriptionAs a Data Scientist, you will be the owner of data assets related to short-term electricity markets, for which Flexcity aims to deliver a best-in-class service. You will carry out quantitative analyses and design optimization solutions using Machine Learning or Linear Programming for our “Smart Grid” services. You will also collaborate with fellow Data Engineers and Developers to deploy these solutions into production.By interacting with other Flexcity teams, you will gain hands-on experience in developing intelligent systems for both electricity markets (day-ahead, intraday, aFRR, …) and flexible assets (BESS, CHPs, solar parks, …).
