Job Description At GemPool, we are currently working with a pioneering ed-tech company based in Ireland, dedicated to empowering second-level students with innovative exam preparation tools. Operating in Ireland, South Africa, and Australia, they provide students and teachers with targeted content to support exam success. They’re seeking a talented Digital Business Analyst to join their team and help shape the digital experience of their users. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to define, document, and deliver business requirements that enhance our digital products and improve internal capabilities.Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and the delivery team to ensure value-driven product development and sprint planning, staying 2-3 sprints ahead of feature delivery.
- Facilitate agile processes, advocating for productivity improvements to enhance team performance.
- Partner with the UX/UI designer to establish design requirements and ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Conduct user interviews and user testing to gather insights, translating findings into actionable acceptance criteria for the product team.
- Perform functional testing to confirm that solutions align with specified requirements and collaborate with the User Acceptance lead to ensure readiness for deployment.
- Manage live issues, triaging and prioritizing defects to maintain product quality and reliability.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Digital Business Analysis role.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools like Jira, with strong data skills.
- Agile certification in Product Ownership, Scrum Master, or equivalent (preferred).
- Demonstrated empathy for users, with a commitment to understanding and meeting their needs.
- Self-driven, able to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Eagerness to learn and leverage new technologies, with a foundational understanding of machine learning and AI principles.
