Digital Business Development Manager
The selected person will join the Commercial Digital Excellence within the Agricultural Solutions division for
leading the following tasks:
Develop the sales strategy for digital services with selected customer segments.
Analyze market trends for digital solutions for agriculture and its impact on large companies/key accounts.
Identify potential clients, understand their challenges and needs, and opportunities for digital services related to agribusiness.
Manage relationships with key accounts, identifying people, decision makers and influencers.
Design a commercial offer adapted to the client, conduct negotiations and define contractual terms.
Support events and marketing activities with the objective to expand the BASF brand and offer of digital services.
Teamwork, communication and customer orientation skills.
The candidate must act with an entrepreneurial spirit, be able to manage his/her time and organize his/her activities without supervision, self-starter.
The candidate needs to understand the interface between management of agriculture and digital tools, mainly for the plant health/diseases.
The candidate must be able to organize a sales pitch and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization for large agribusiness company to retailers to farmers.
The candidate must know the organizational structure of agri-food companies, mainly in the wine sector, in order to identify who makes decisions and who has influence.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Agricultural, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, IT, Business Administration or similar.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, advanced English.
Willingness to travel frequently. It is essential to have Driver s License.
