What the role looks like :
- Team Management & Client Service: Plan, organize, and manage teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services to clients, including the review of management accounts and provision of financial information.
- Procedure Development: Draft, implement, and maintain internal procedures to ensure professional standards and compliance with deadlines for regulatory reporting and tax filings.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Support the delivery of financial planning and analysis, preparing projections, and ensuring accuracy in Net Asset Value (NAV) and Waterfall calculations.
- Capital Markets Transactions: Manage and supervise a portfolio of asset-backed and private credit clients, overseeing transactions and liaising with investment managers and legal advisors.
- Process Improvement: Continuously work on improving accounting processes to ensure efficiency and reduced reporting lead times.
- Leadership & Coaching: Mentor and empower finance team members while ensuring collaboration across departments to meet company objectives.
Whats required of you :
- Must have relevant professional qualifications.
- 6+ years experience in a similar role in the FS industry as well as experience managing a team/teams.
- Issuance of notes (via euroclear) a distinct advantage and knowledge of capital markets and ideally working experience of same.
- Strong commercial awareness and comfortable in a commercial space (This is not a BD role)
