Director, Sales – Farm & Specialty

Kontoor Brands is looking for a Director of Sales – Farm & Specialty to join our team. The Director of Sales supports all aspects of business for all Kontoor Brands within the Farm and Specialty accounts. This position reports to a Vice President of Sales and leads the sales management process, including business development, marketing and sales optimization. This individual will drive key business analysis to shape strategy and achieve aggressive, profitable growth targets for all of Kontoor brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage AE’S handling top Farm and Specialty accts by attending weekly, monthly, quarterly meetings with internal & external partners while establishing budgets, monitor performance, return on investment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with accounts management teams.
  • Help create and work thru promotional strategies, oversees assortment, support execution of Kontoor strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee activities to drive profitable growth (partnering with sales planning, merchandising, category management & customer service). 
  • Financial reporting (oversee monthly reporting of sales, shipments & inventory, provide quarterly reporting internally and with accounts.
  • Manage all aspects of the Mid-states relationship and shows: Sign up and registration, payment procurement, Booth logistics, conversations internally and with third party. Sample, catalog, give away ordering and return process. Aligning and setting teams to attend shows with you, travel and hotel recommendations for team.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create any new signage for both, and any additional banners or sponsorships.

Requirements/Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience with progressive sales managerial responsibilities preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical abilities to interpret sales data and market insights
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving sales growth and profitability.
  • Flexibility to travel within the assigned district and work a flexible schedule as needed.
