Director, Telecoms Expense Management and Regulatory

We are looking for a Director of Telecoms Management and Regulatory who will be responsible for handling the inventory and cost efficiency of our global billing process as well as regulatory reporting and payments to our Regulators. The scope of the service covers our client facing, production network, office connectivity and mobile estate.

You will craft core processes for the effective management of Telecoms Inventory & Billing, as well as governing the Regulatory process for changes!

To enable delivery you will manage a team of 10 staff (India and London) and measure the service based on key success metrics and provide reporting against agreed targets.

The quality of our inventory is critical and so you will need to manage the Telecoms inventory to ensure accuracy of data and have the ability to provide inventory & cost reporting, as well as managing improvements to inventory quality.

We work with a Supplier to provide tooling and services and you will need to partner with them to handle delivery against the agreed metrics from the contract, as well as lead future renewals or contract bidding for this service.

Linking closely with our Finance team, you will need ensure accurate tracking of Telecoms Financials, and manage against overall budget plans.

As a key liaison with our customer teams, you will also review and agree deviations from standard pricing models for Customer provided Telecommunications services and maintain the pricing calculators.

To enable you to succeed in this position, we recommend you have the following experience;

  • Helpful to have experience with a 3rd party Managed Service for Telecoms Expense Billing
  • Knowledge of standard billing operations for telecoms lines including mobility services
  • Knowledge of basic billing financial and accounting principles
  • Telecommunications Expense & Billing Experience
  • Experience leading a team
  • Ability to communicate at senior levels in a global organisation
  • Must be self-motivated, dynamic and able to work with minimal direction
