Grade UE07: £37,099 to £44,263 per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £39,347 to £46,974 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024)

Education Beyond Borders oversees programmes and initiatives across the University to support students and academics from across the world who have been forcibly displaced due to conflict, violence or persecution. This supports the University of Edinburgh’s Strategy 2030 objectives and UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) international ’15×30′ target of 15 per cent of refugees accessing higher education by 2030.
We are looking for an experienced individual to manage programmes and projects within Education Beyond Borders, including the Displaced Student Scholarship Programme and the At-Risk Academic Fellowship Programme. Reporting to the Deputy Head, Global Community, the Manager will oversee program operations, manage recruitment, and develop support mechanisms for scholars. Key responsibilities include day-to-day management, workload oversight, initiative development, and outcome reporting. Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience in higher education and understanding the challenges faced by displaced individuals are advantageous.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week).
